An-Nisaa (The Women) Group is a Walsall based organisation established in the late 80's, in response to the local needs of Muslim women. Since the initial conception, the group has adapted and changed according to the differing needs of local women over time.

Key working objectives:

• Empowerment of women through education, networking and advocacy work.

• Engagement through interagency work to ensure support mechanisms exist for the more vulnerable members of our society'.

• Promotion of dialogue and raising awareness through inter-faith work.

• Provide a platform for local and national organisations in an attempt to influence and shape service provision for local communities.
